Protein Complex is a complementary feed for horses made in Sweden. Rich in protein and with a high proportion of essential amino acids.
High-quality protein for horses
Protein Complex is based on Swedish wheat stillage with a naturally high protein content and with a high proportion of essential amino acids. Wheat stillage is a residual product from the fermentation of wheat. During the fermentation process, the starch is consumed at the same time as the protein is concentrated, without changing the high quality of the protein. The wheat stillage also contains a prebiotic yeast culture that contributes to balance in the intestinal microflora and increases the body's nutrient absorption.
Protein
Adapting to needs and giving the horse enough protein is important both for the adult but above all for the growing horse. To build muscle and maintain its muscle mass, the horse needs enough protein. The younger horse must also develop a strong skeleton, build muscles and supporting tissue such as ligaments and tendons, all of which require protein.
Protein Complex's high concentration of protein, together with the fact that it contains all the amino acids the horse needs, makes it a perfect addition to the daily feed.
Which horses can eat Protein Complex?
Thanks to Protein Complex's low levels of starch, it can be advantageously given to all horses. We recommend adding Protein Complex when the feed is low in protein.
