How to measure for a Horseware Rug:

Using a soft measuring or tailor tape, measure from the centre point of the chest (A), across the point of the shoulder and to the centre of the tail (B).

Substract 10 cm (4 inches) from the resulting measurement (for the overlap of the rug at the chest area) and then consult the size table.

The deducted lenght, calculated in either metric, will show you the respective length of the back seam. The length of the back seam corresponds with the size selection box.

Please note: Some rug models are available with different cuts despite having the same basic measurements (body length and back seam). The product name indicates whether it is one of these special sizes (Petite/Mini, Pony or XL).

Petite/Mini: 75, 80 = cut shorter on the sides than pony sizes
Pony: 115, 125 = cut shorter on the sides than horse sizes
XL sizes: 20% larger neckline and 10% longer sides than horse sizes

The Amigo® 1200D Turnout 100g is a classic, durable, and versatile turnout rug, designed to provide lightweight warmth and reliable protection. Constructed from a strong 1200D polyester outer, this waterproof and breathable rug features a 100g fiberfill for added warmth while maintaining comfort in changing weather conditions. The 210T shine-enhancing, anti-static, anti-bacterial polyester lining supports coat health by reducing friction, preventing rubbing, and minimizing bacterial growth. Designed for security and ease of movement, this rug includes a V-Front Closure to reduce pressure on the shoulders, front leg arches for enhanced mobility, and three crossed surcingles for a secure and comfortable fit. A waterproof tail flap and PVC wipe-clean tail cord provide additional protection against the elements. For added versatility, this rug is compatible with the Horseware® liner system, allowing for easy layering, and can be paired with an Amigo® turnout detachable hood (available separately) for full coverage. Materials: Outer made from strong, waterproof and breathable 1200D polyester for durable protection in all weather conditions. 100g fiberfill provides lightweight insulation, perfect for transitional weather. 210T polyester lining with shine-enhancing, anti-static and anti-bacterial properties promotes a healthy, smooth coat and reduces friction.

Washing Instruction:

Washing instructions: It's suggested, that you have your turnouts professionally cleaned. Ensure all hook-and-loop fasteners are closed and clips/straps are attached prior to washing. Line Dry Only / Air dry only away from a heat source. Storage instructions: Once dry, fold neatly into a breathable storage bag. Store in a cool, dry place away from any moisture or damp areas, avoiding excessive heat and UV exposure. Your turnout packaging can be used as an excellent bag for multiple purposes such as an equestrian gear bag or turnout storage for the off-season.
